When designing websites (or other pretty things), your client may not always have all of their copy ready to go. Sometimes they’re still working on it when they hire you and won’t be able to send all 100% before you start creating (if they do, send them flowers).
As you know, it’s kinda hard to design things without the content. Every now and then you’ll need to use filler text. It will help you and your client see how all of the elements will work together within the design.
The old standby for filler text is Loren Ipsum. This granddaddy has been used for centuries in print and now on the web (check the link for more interesting history on it).
If you’ve used Loren Ispum a lot it can get a little boring. And if you know me, you know I like to have fun while I work. Who doesn’t? That’s why I’m sharing some of the fun ipsums I’ve found and use. 🙂
You have a fav? Share it! I’m looking for a cute puppy ipsum, so if you find one let me know. Have fun! 🙂
